An entrepreneurial, sophisticated frontline fundraiser, the Major Gifts Officer will report to and work closely with the Executive Director of the City College Fund and the Executive Director of Zahn Innovation Center. The major gifts officer will need to establish a strategic vision for the sustainability and growth of the Zahn Innovation Center at the City College of New York (CCNY). He or she will cultivate and steward donors and prospects to seek funding for the high-profile programming presented by the Zahn Center.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years fundraising experience with a proven track record of closing high 6-figure and 7-figure gifts, an understanding of and passion for social and commercial entrepreneurship, and the excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary to work effectively with faculty, staff, donors, foundations and corporations.
